    Default Chris Schwarz books

    Hey,

Does anyone know where I can buy the following books in Sydney, or has anyone seen them at any libraries?

-Workbenches: From Design & Theory to Construction & Use
-The Workbench Design Book - The Art & Philosophy of Building Better Benches

I know I can buy them from the Lie Nielsen website but i'd prefer to have a look at the book first.

Alternatively if anyone has these books and are willing to sell them, i'd be more than happy to buy them off you- send me a PM

Try Book Depository - based in the UK, but free worldwide postage, and if you type MAY11 you might get an extra 10% off... but don't tell them I told you.

Sorry, Gremlins tonight. First part of my message said:

I don't know where you can look at them, but when you come to buy, there's a really good website I've used quite a bit recently.
    Cheers, Richard

Bookmarked ( Bookmarked.com.au Pty Ltd ) have the basic edition of Workbenches (the blue cover) WITHOUT the CD/DVD of extra material. It is well worth getting the 'deluxe' version as it has an extra bench as a .pdf on the CD.

You can get both books direct from the Pop. Wood. bookshop : Woodworking Books, Woodworking Plans, Woodworking Projects - ShopWoodworking.com
or from Lee Valley, who also have the deluxe edition.

    Hey!

Thanks for the offer (Sawdust Maker) and for the other replies, it's very much appreciated

I have however just ordered both books from www.fishpond.com.au for $60 and free delivery
