    Thanks, Robo )

I'm calling it finished now. I still need to add dog holes, but that's for another day when I've bought some dogs.

It's not a pretty bench... It's meant for work, so I didn't even bother planing/sanding off my pencil marks from the build, and I think it's kinda nice to see those under the shellac. There are also a few dribble marks I missed while applying the finish. The apron the vise is installed through is a bit bowed, and there a few other little flaws, but I like it.

The next project is some drawers for underneath (as a separate unit that slides in) and some shelves for the ends between the aprons.

Here it is after some shellac.

Thanks, Christos! I was motivated, plus I did a few hours each day on it while hanging out in the garage and listening to some music. It was good fun. I need to spend more time doing blokey stuff like this rather than sitting on my bum at the computer )

Daniel, You have done a great job on this bench and hopefully you will spend many happy hours in the shed with the radio on whatever station you prefer. As you said, far better than sitting in front of a keyboard and screen.
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

Thanks, Ruddy ) I hope so too. Lately it has been Triple M since I'm so sick of all the whiney chick music on the other stations!
