Very nicely done.
And I see that you needed one last tool in order to get this completed.

Well, If you're really fed up with your bench, maybe I should come down and take it out of your way!
That's a great piece of work, well done, I'm in awe of anyone who is able to get through a bench build - they seem to be more work than any piece of furniture!Cheers, Richard

Beautiful job!
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
Regards, Woodwould.

I once read something about native american tribes thinking eight generations ahead, that bench looks like it fits that philosophy. Really nice piece of work.

Fantastic looking bench Dan, and the little gem there waiting to make shavings. A real credit to you.

What a great workbench.
Congratulations.
I have looked at heaps of benches and never seen one like this.
I like that.
It's impressive how quickly you finished it with all the planning you did.Scally

Well, we're not done yet. I still have a few supplies to collect (bolts and rods), need to install the wagon vice (upside down), trim the chops and end caps, plane end caps, sand the front and back, and fix a tool slot at the back (to stop things building up on top and to cover up some bad tear out on the back piece.) And the parallel guide needs to be extended out of the front, and build the wheel mount mechanism.... oh and more holes for hold downs (my plan is one in the center of the table, and one at the back, in line with the front holes but every 12" rather than 3")

The photos are a little out of order, but you should have fun working out where they go.
I decided to largely ignore the instructions for the benchcrafted wagon vice which references from the top. I aligned the first rail at the front and screw it in. Then using a small scrap of pine made a spacer and attached the second rail.
The block from the wagon was a little tricky to build around the carriage. I got there in the end. I've discovered a far installation aspect of the old vs new wagon vice. The new square one is tapped on the square block, the old has a large nut bolted to the carriage. The nut prevents the wagon vice opening completely. In my case, I've decided to go the two hole approach, so it doesn't matter.
Currently the carriage is free to slide along. I'll need to print the template to install the screw. My blog: ~ for the love of wood ~ - http://theloveofwood.blogspot.com/

It's not quite finished. A few construction and decorative details to go. But here it is to date.
