Some brilliant ideas in the vid, can see lots of us adapting a few, particularly the clamps on the edge of the bench

Thanks for the link Groggy... I like it,

Some ideas similar to some of the ideas incorporated into my bench at:

    https://www.woodworkforums.com/f213/v...6/#post1214453

Must say that whilst it's a pleasure having dog-holes wherever you want them on top, they can also be a right PITB with screws etc falling through the dog-holes!

I think that your bench-top has a better balance... enough dog-holes, but also enough space without dog-holes.

That's a nice setup, it's always good to see how others go about it. Thanks Groggy.

    LOve it !

The T Track idea is genius.

I also wish I owned even one Festool tool

He sounds possibly German so I guess Festool tools over there would be cheaper since Festool is German isn't it?

    Great Vid.

This bloke is definitely an ideas man.

Meant to ask... He used his jigsaw upside down... What is the thinking with that?

Same here, I initially thought he was using the lid as a guide for a square cut which at the time again thought smart thinking. Then when double checked after reading your comment, I don't actually think the base plate of the jig saw was against the lid.

He cuts it pretty darn straight, maybe just easier the way he is holding it?
