Thread: My multiple workbench odyssey - because it's more that a journey

Well Saturday after things warmed up just a bit we got busy with Epoxy after taking to the various resin lines and chip out etc with the dremel to give the epoxy plenty of area.

Even warming the epoxy up wasn't doing a lot of good so out came the heatgun like the do with river pours to raise the bubbles, this really worked to especially on the thin cracks and joints.

Didn't think to grab any photos last night as it just got too cold.

I spent most of today thicknessing the spare timber lying around and cleaning up before i took to the bench again with the sanders

Slightly related to the bench build I actually got a near zero clearance insert made for the Tablesaw.

4mm Aluminium sheet is perfect thickness for the Harvey insert. Cut the riving knife section on the mill with a 4mm bit and then ran it down the entire slot so i have around 0.4mm gap each side of the blade

The only issue at the moment is it's free floating without the hook on the back, need to mill up a hook for it.
