As you can see mine has plenty of battle scares and yes it is normally this clear but that is aminly due to the fact that I have to take photo's of the build for magazine articles so need to keep the clutter down as well as that it is only small and if not kept reasonably clear I tend to loose things
    During a build

These give an idea of the size and shows the battle scares

That's not a work bench, it is a piece of art!

I gave it a tidy up and put all the bits and pieces where they belong and it now looks like this

That's a neat and tidy little bench there.
    Well done

At the moment I am building a cigar box guitar for a friend. I do clean up the bench now and then when the clutter starts slowing the work down. I've built quite a few of these now and found that actual cigar boxes can be hit or miss sound wise so now mostly build the box myself unless the client wants an actual cigar box. Am at the first test fit of the neck blank. About half ways through the build. So this is how my bench currently looks.

I am preparing to move to a new shed early next month and was caught in the middle of a workbench build. It currently looks like this.

    20180513_161733.jpg

The base is complete, a lot of the top is done but still got to cut and fit end-caps, tool-tray and vises. The redgum on top of the ironbark top are the endcaps.

The build thread is here Long-overdue workbench build if you want to follow along. I will be back to working on it sometime in June after I have moved into the new shed.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Thanks Spandex, it's got a HNT tail vice on it now too which is brilliant.

I'm going to add some Veritas Prairie Dogs to the two dog holes over the vice when I get to Carbatec.
