The Outdoor Pine Bench
I finally finished my workbench, vice donated from a work buddy which I restored and gave a quick paint.
As it lives outdoors, it got a coat of acrylic paint on the top.
I routed in a grove to sit a strip of wood to act as a stop.
dog holes and other hold down methods will come.
I ran out of space in the shed so my orginal plans for an indoor bench got canned and it got moved outdoors.

Will it get rained on? or will you put a tarp over it?
Is the groove painted as well ... you might get water sitting there ... ?
Good job,
Paul

i shimmed the grove and its a very tight fit, 3 days of rain and no water collecting there.
Its under an awning so its not too bad and the table has a coat of exterior paint on it.

I think you have done very well and having this exactly as a work bench, useable, expendable, disposable.
