    Default The Samurai Workbench

I do not recall this bench build video being posted here. Really worth watching.

    Thanks Derek

At first I thought, here we go, yet another Roubo, not that I am complaining as I really like the Roubo design, but that was different. Worth watching just for the sliding deadman towards the end, which I hasten to add for the squeamish, was not a victim of a Samurai attack.

Yeah, good stuff. The guy obviously has some skill and does very clean work. My question is, how did he get to be such a good woodworker with the absolutely horrific workholding he had before he made the bench!

when my bench was being built, I had the luxury of another fully functional bench being available, but I see now what it's like to not have that.

    Great video. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Luke

I watch many of his vids. He is an interesting character which often talks about himself in the third person. Some of his power tools are awesome. Portable bandsaw, portable chisel mortiser etc.

Very inspiring video. It made me want to get out to the workshop and create something.
