Sliding Leg Vice Leg Redeisgn
The next piece of complexity for my workbench is designing the sliding leg vice.
I've drawn a quick sketch in sketchup. See pics.
The leg is bolted together, to allow a patient person to completely dissemble the vice, and allow the back bracket (that slides under the bench in a steel angle re-enforced slot) some height adjustment. Also I've added 4 wheels to allow for smooth lateral movement.
