Default Is this some sort of steel workbench?

Bought this at a garage sale today as a steel working bench but interested in what it really is. The tags in each corner made me think it held a frame but maybe it is for bending some frames. Anybody seen these before?

    Cheers,

Looks like the tags were to hold something on the bench ,ie to stop it from sliding off .
Looks solid enough for a welding bench.

Or even a jig for repetetive work.

It does look pretty solid. Good pick up!

    Default Thanks

Thanks guys, I think this one is the keeper and the other miserable attempts are going to new homes. I will have to figure a set of wheels to make it mobile which is the new rule for the overflowing shed.

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
I started to build a new workbench today. I will finish it tomorrow and start a thread to show the wheel setup that makes it mobile whle sitting on its legs when in use.

Looking forward to it. Maybe I can use the same for the 2.5m work bench.

    Thx + Cia
