"Technical" bench
I was at an auction a few weeks back and saw a great "technical" workbench.
Basically it was a powerdercote steel frame with a laminate timber top. The best bit was the upper tier which held assorted heaver test gear. It also had a few pullout steel drawers under the bench. I wasn't the high bidder sadly.
This is exactly what I'm looking for. The closest I have found so far are the similarly styled "pallet rack" workbenches (Dexion et al) but they are quite soulless bits of work and this one is destined for inside for fine assembly work.
Any thought where I might find something similar - and don't say at auction
