    Default Veritas sliding tail vise

    Hey,

I am looking at hardware for my bench that will be built soon.

I'd like a tail vise and was looking at the Veritas sliding tail vise - Veritas Tools - Vises and Clamping - Sliding Tail Vise

Has anyone used or owned one? If so what are your thoughts?

One of the reasons I like this paticular model is that it's easy to instal compared to others on the market.

    Hey Nick, thanks for replying.

I have read some other reviews on other forums and they seem to get good feedback.

I wonder how it would compare to a traditional wagon vice?

A question to those who have installed a wagon vice- are they really that hard to instal?

I have been watching a podcast on making a Rubo bench with a benchcrafted tail vice and this one looks much easier to fit I think it will work well, as said above, Veritas stuff seems to be very well made.
