This was also my grandfathers and his father brought it out from Germany early last century, apparently. The top is about 70 or 80mm thick hardwood. And ithe top ts all just morticed and rebated into position.

I am late to the party but here are my two. Photos I just took this morning for something else. As you can see, they are used regular. Nothing fancy but strong and stable.

The main one still has the old motor I just restored on it. Need to get the lift over there and move it off there since it is done.Jeff
