    Default Boxes

I have included a few boxes I made up a few months ago and applies some Ot pattern to the lids with the hope of not spoiling them.

Three are Macassa Ebony which is great for OT and the other is Sassafrass.
Macassa will hold a very tight fine pattern where as Sassafrass being softer is more suited to more open patterns.

    Love your work Edwards!

    Especially the second one (1b-mac-box)

How did you manage the 30 or 60 indexes? 30 indexes and rotate the job in the chuck half and index?

    Rose engine or trimmer router?

All cuts were done by indexing. Moving the job in the chuck is too risky although I have done it from time to time but suggest its not the way to go.
Patterns such as shown are multiple indexing and cut through a contoured surface.
With this approach its quite easy to make it look like Rose Engine work but so much easier to do.
