    I really like the colour-coded index wheel. In one of my previous lives, in precast concrete manufacture, we used colour spray paint to match-mark mold components for re-assembly, because some of the production workers were illiterate. A relative, OTOH, is colour blind, and always had to save resistor packs because he couldn't read the stripes accurately.
