Default 16" Impeller for Dust Extractor $400

This is a copy of the impeller for a Clearvue Max. The problem with building a CV cyclone in Oz is getting an impeller at the right price or having the information to build one. I had one built for a one off project which someone else was doing but that is now not going to happen so it is for sale. The only thing I have not done is check the static balance but I have been assured it is very good. All plans to build the cyclone are available on Bill Pentz's web site.

This is a personal sale and has no connection to my involvement in Auto Blast Gates.

    Chris

Can you tell me what height the impeller blades are?

I might be interested in it for the Aldgate Men's Shed.

    Regards

Neil, they are 100mm but an angle grinder would fix any height problems! I forgot to mention it comes complete with the taper lock onto the motor shaft.

What size shaft does that taper lock fit?

    Thanks

    Thanks, Chris.

I'll have a look at what we have at the Men's Shed to see if it fits when I go there this morning and also have a chat with them about it.

Having discussed this with the chaps at our local Men's Shed they have decided not to go with this impeller as an upgrade to our current cyclone to increase its capacity to reach our new extension and instead go with a separate DE system in our new extension.

But, knowing how difficult it was to get a larger impeller like this here in Australia when we built the cyclones at our Men's Shed I know someone is going to get a great deal with this 16" impeller!

I believe they will make anything you want. A friend of mine had them make the same style of impeller for his blower ( Opal Mining ) they drew it up on a CAD program cut and welded it, he just had to have it balanced elsewhere apparently much more efficient than the origin.
