    1949 Hyco Lathe, Bench and Woodworking Tools - Palm Beach

    Looking to sell our grandfather's lathe.

    Needs a motor recondition, fresh oil and rewiring of the power cord as advised by a woodworking friend. Unable to test for buyers.

    Comes with various chisels used and our grandfather was meticulous with it.

    As an old league coach would have said "You done good". That's a great buy. For four or five hundred dollars you could add a brand new motor and electronic variable speed. I've done that with my Woodfast lathe, and it's been worth every dollar. Enjoy your new toy!

    Agreed, fantastic buy!

    I had a variable speed added to one of my Woodfasts and that converted it from being a good lathe to a very good lathe to use.
