Though a buyer mustn't guess. Information can be gained via a magic of a question!
Here comes some more info.
Brand : Champ Fond. Made in Taiwan. This is good Taiwan stuff. Made for industrial applications, designed to last and perform.
Motor: 4hp, 3 phase
Blade: 290mm
Swing 45 deg plus both directions.
Height adjustment: 200mm
This is a heavy duty unit and one not for faint hearted.
These type of saws are extremely versatile. Great for docking, trenching especially if working with hardwood posts/beams etc.
Fantastic on a timber mill production line.
Old school tradies used to cut out whole kitchens on saws like this.
It is also easily one of the most dangerous tools in the shed.
The power of the motor combined with lack of guards and ability to bind on just about anything requires experience and confidence.
That is one of the reasons why description was scant.
If a person is not sure straight away at what this is by looking at the photo, i probably won't recommend getting it.
