Wanted 60mm Back Cap Iron (Blade Holder)
I have come into some plane parts and some parts are missing. I am after a couple of "Back Cap Iron"(possibly called a Blade Holder). They are 60mm wide. Would appreciate if there are any out there. It seems shame to throw the rest of the planes out. This is the first time for a while since I last posted so if I get it wrong I apologise.

Companies like The Tool Exchange have cap irons for sale fairly regularly. Or if the plane is a good one you could splash out on a Veritas replacement blade and cap iron which will transform it.
Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

You can get a used one from eBay for $25, or a new Veritas cap iron for around $60 plus postage.
