    Default Animal Hide Glue

Hide glue has been around and in use for the last 8000 years. It’s strong, reversible, easy to clean up and accepts stains and finishes without leaving the unsightly white marks PVA is infamously known to do. I use hide glue on all my projects. I use high quality glue manufactured by Milligan and Higgins in the US.

The glue I’m offering for sale is high quality and comes from M&H. It’s only a week old and I’ve only used 30grams, 970 grams is left in the bag. The bloom strength is 350 which is perfect for instrument makers. I’m comfortable with using 192gram strength. The granules have an indefinite shelf life provided they are kept in the cupboard out of direct sunlight. Also M&H has taken out the stench that is normal with hide glue.

If you wish to learn more about hide glue you can visit my blog at Journeyman's Journal – This is a journal of the art of woodworking by hand I have written several articles on the subject. You can also download my magazines for free where I’ve written articles about the glue.

This would normally cost you $50 plus shipping.
I am offering it to you for only $35 plus $12 shipping
