antique wood tool kit
I am looking for a new home for an old set of woodworking tools now that the farm is sold. The kit was put together two generations ago by a talented woodworking uncle and is in tact and still hanging in the workshop. I am looking for $800 ONO. Pick up preferred but will organise freight if required and pass on the cost. I am in Hamilton Victoria.

Hi Robert,
in my experience it is very rare to find a complete set of such tools in a case. I have no idea about value as I do not know what the tools are, but I do think that you have a great item there. Depending on the age it may be something an antique shop could sell on your behalf (or an an antiques auctions house). Unfortunately, they all take a hefty cut.

Thank for the feed back - I think I have seen what you are saying about auction houses in action.
