BALLARAT - Carbatec CTJ381 thicknesser and Carbatec table saw
My parents are downsizing due to situation, so my father has asked that I sell some of the items that he can't take with him to the new premises. He loves his woodworking but most of his equipment will have to be sold. Before anyone states with the best of intentions, he is a member at the local mens shed and they already have stuff, these items can't go there.
Location is Golden Point in Ballarat, central to almost everyone. Bring a trailer and some mates for the larger items. There will be further listings coming up as my father has the literal ton of wood and I can't take all of it. I have based sale price after using Google, if I am in error please let me know. My father has purchased these items new from Carbatec and have been maintained to a high standard.
Carbatec CTJ-381 thicknesser
$900?
Maintained and kept sharp and my father says it is a complete unit, if you don't buy this one - buy one in the future. Kicks the literal butt of other brands.

Carbatec table saw
$1200 ono
I can't read the model number off the photo but have seen this one in action - bloody hell it's good. The picture shows the condition, has served my father very well. I can't really get a value at this time of night so make offers until I can get more information.

You will need a trailer and some mates to move this one.

That's the same as my saw. The Carbatec model no. is TS-C250H-A, the manufacturers model no. is MJ2325D. It's virtually identical to this current offering from Hare and Forbes - Just a moment...
You'd better put a price on it fairly quickly or the Mod's might delete your post due to non-compliance with the rules. Also all correspondence has to be conducted in the thread NOT by PM.
Cheers,
David

I paid $1,500 for mine from another member. It included an Incra fence system, Incra mitre express and a few other accessories that would have been $300? new. Like your offering it was in very good order. The problem with selling this type of saw is that many people are looking for a true cabinet saw and although this particular saw is a huge upgrade on your basic contractor saw they're still a hybrid, not a true cabinet saw. Personally I'd be pitching it a bit lower than the $1,300 you've suggested.
Cheers,
David
