Blades for 310 mm planer thicknesser WPT-310 or similiar
I have recently upgraded my WPT-310 to a helical cutter head. As such, I have available a number of blade sets for the original cutter head.

Three used sets, still in good order just need a sharpen.
One unused set still in wrapping.
One jig I made to hold the blades at the right angle for sharpening on wet and dry.
I still have the old cutter head, but the pulley shaft has been damaged and would require repair.
$50 for the blades if anyone is interested. I don't see any value in the jig or old cutter head but are there for the taking.
The blades are 310 mm long x 25 mm wide x 3 mm thick, with one edge sharpened.
Pick up only. Hunter Valley

I'm considering the same upgrade to my Woodman PT 310.
If you don't mind me asking, what brand helical cutter head did you go with and roughly what did it set you back.
Also how are you finding the change to helical compared to the original blades.

Sea,
I bought the helical head from Woodcraft Supplies, WOODCRAFT SUPPLIES IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS IN 2020!, I believe it is a CTS, not the Shelix. Around $1000 plus postage. Worth every cent, the difference is astounding, noise is lower, cut quality is better, and all the vibrations associated with three knives has disappeared. No more thickness adjustment wandering because of vibration.

Sounds like I need to invest in the helical tech.
Confirms what i've been learning about this upgrade.
I know what you mean about the "adjustment wandering" even with the adjustment knob locked,
I sometimes have to hold it by hand to stop the movement during a pass.
Could have something to do with the blades needing sharpening ...... or replacing
Thanks for the reply.
