Thread: BNIB: TSO products Guide Rail Square and Domino Bigfoot

This is a slightly odd one, so bear with me...

The manufacturer has sent me a duplicate order (but I've only paid once). I've contacted them to see what they want me to do with it. It's a tidy amount to return at their expense, so thought I'd explore other options while I wait to hear from them after the holidays. If anyone here wants these, then they may be happy fo me to sell them here, and pass the cash on to them. I've taken the cost for each, and split the postage between the two.

These are brand new, in the box, and if TSO are happy for them to be sold here, I'll make sure they get the buyers' details so that a full warranty can be applied. I'm just going to be a middle man. The $ will go to TSO.

At the moment, I just want to see if someone(s) is (very) interested, and that this is an option. I will need to confirm prices and details with TSO.

TSO make very high quality, very useful add-on products. I have a few of their offerings, and they are a) beautifully made, b) simple to use, and c) incredibly-why-the-heck-didn't-I-get-this-sooner-useful.

The first is a GRS-16 Guide Rail Square - it basically turns your track saw track into a giant, highly accurate square. It makes breaking up sheets a doddle. Someone told me to get one of these when I bought my tracksaw. I ignored them. Got one later and gave myself a severe talking to for not getting it sooner. Compatible with Festool, Makita and Triton Tracks. Also compatible with TSO's parallel guide system (another game-changer).

In Aus, these will set you back $339. Yours for around $295 if I can swing it (and I'll see if I can make sure this includes post).

The second bit is a DBF-45 BigFoot base for the Festool Domino (compatible with both the 500 and 700).
Replaces that crappy little plastic thing that comes with the domino, and makes vertical mortising so much safer and easier. Also provides extra support for horizontal work.

Aus price: $169. Us conversion inc delivery is $155, but I'll see if TSO will discount it a bit more if someone is keen.

At the moment, it's expressions of interest only, and it may all come to nothing. TSO may just tell me to chuck it back in the box and return.
