Box of Wood Auger Bits in fractional imperial sizes
I'm selling some items on behalf of the Aldgate Men's Shed that were donated to us and are surplus to our requirements. Offering here first before selling on Gumtree/eBay.
I will be listing various other items here for them over the coming weeks.
Thanks for looking.
This listing is for a box of Wood Auger Bits in fractional imperial sizes, mostly from various US makers and in excellent condition. Most of those were made in the late 1800s to very early 1900s. There must be a story behind how these ended up here in Australia. These are for the dedicated darkside woodworker!
The asking price is $120 for the set in the box. I'm not prepared to sell any of them separately as I believe I can get more by selling them as a set on International eBay into the US market, but would prefer to give forum membes a chance to buy before doing that. Postage is at your cost by your preferred shipping method. Items are located in the Adelaide Hills. Weight is 2.4kg in the wooden box
These bits all have the tapered square shank that fits into a traditional hand brace. There are 20 bits all together with some duplicate sizes.
