    Default Dawn 9” Vice - project, Vic

    i bought this Aussie made vice some years back and was basically ripped off- the casting was cracked so it couldn’t be used. i bought a new rear casting from Dawn, but then realized it won’t work now as a quick release vice without a bit of engineering, as new castings don’t accommodate the lever bar. I then happened on a big old Record so
    lost interest
    If you want to play around i am sure you could get it to work as a quick release, otherwise just use it as a normal vice. $100, not too keen on posting this - pickup from nth melbourne, brunswick or Possibly Mornington
