Delta Unisaw with Biesemeyer fence.
Scored this about 18 months ago and shoved it in the back of the ‘shop.
As I’m looking at downsizing thought I’d see if there’s any interest on here.
Saw has never been used, came with a US plug. My son a sparky has fitted a local one.
As far as I can tell it would be about 2002 vintage, that’s when Carbatec discontinued selling them here in Aus. It is badged as ‘Made in the USA’ but who knows what that means?
Fitted with a US style splitter wot tilts ok with the blade and is a close fit with the saw at full height.
This came from a shed with a leaky roof so has suffered from being wet.
It was a pile of bits and I have assembled it but it needs tweaking especially in regards to the extension table and the mobile base arrangement.8A77EC0E-35F8-4565-B29B-460DEE805704.jpg
Anyho look at the pics and pm me if interested. Open to offers and can deliver Sydney and possibly up to Brizzy via coast or inland if you can unload.
$1750.00

Replaced the motor cover, Ive figured out how to fit the extension table onto the lift kit.
If I get to fix it will rephotograph it

Dr Harriss I sent you a pm with my phone number yesterday afternoon, can you please ring me to organise your picking up the Unisaw.
I’d like to hear from you as Delbs who was the first interested in this saw will be in Sydney this weekend and if you can’t go ahead with the purchase I need to know so I can chase him up.
Thanks H.Jimcracks for the rich and/or wealthy. (aka GKB '88)

Don't like to be a killjoy folks but the electrical system on this saw is ringing alarm bells.
With a current rating of 17 amps it exceeds the rating of Australian domestic power outlets even if a 15 amp outlet is installed and used and from what I can see of the plug it looks like a 10 amp plug (ie smaller earth pin).

I was looking at that too, as my place is so old the wiring wouldn't cope, but any modernish sort of place should have 20A rated mains cable running to the 10A sockets. So while the inrush current at startup will be high and possibly trip breakers, running it should be fine and the cable shouldn't overheat at 3HP (approx 2.2kW) which is <10A continuous. Technically bad yes, workable, also yes depending on whether anything else is wired to the same circuit and mains cabling used.

Thanks for your helpful input Dave.
Bit of light on the plug.
A few pps I can throw in.
I’m not a sparky so I’ll leave that debate to resident experts.

Yes it is.
Thanks for your interest.
Possibly best to say you’d ‘take it’ subject to Inspection on pick up in future
