    Default Durden L500 Wood lathe

    Team,

For Sale $250 ono - Tired, but and with a touch of TLC, (as in a scrub down) a Fully functional, working Durden L500 4speedwood lathe. This would be an ideal beginners lathe, or one to cannibalise for those needing parts for their Durden. Comes with scroll chuck attached.

Story - A recently departed member of our association had purchased the lathe, but never ended up taking delivery. So its being sold on his estates behalf.

    PICK UP ONLY - Abbotsford

If the scroll chuck works and has the key I will be willing to take it.

I believe it’s an old Nova, no key required just 2 rods that you put in and locks by bringing together not too dissimilar to a router chuck using 2 spanners. Unfortunately however I won’t seperate. It’s a package deal, if u buy the chuck, I’ll throw in the lathe.

    its also in Sydney.

I's exactly like this, see rods on RHS of picture.
