    Default DURDEN Pacemaker UP10-600

Was working well but just went to start it and it just hums. Not rust, the red in the photo is Rosewood dust. A few extra saw blades go with it.

Very solid cast iron so pickup only at Stroud NSW 2425. IMG_20210217_114331857.jpgIMG_20210217_114126298.jpgIMG_20210217_114055599.jpgIMG_20210217_114040622.jpg $100 if anyone is interested.

Not buying it myself, but I'm guessing the motor is an induction motor? If it's humming it's most likely the starter capacitor has dried out or died. These are a simple cheap fix if it is. Washing machine repair shops usually have suitable replacements.

Take it to the local mens shed, there’s bound to be someone there who will get it going snd be able to onsell it. Looks in great condition considering it’s probably 50 years old. There will be something simple to fix it, they’re not complicated machines at all.

Big and heavy, two strong young men would struggle to load onto a ute, and I'm neither of those so bring help.

The local mens shed is also "interested" so first come first served.
