Default ELU TGS 173 Docking/Rip Compound Mitre Flip/Saw Plus Extension Frame!

Hi all, as mentioned prior, I'm needing to be a bit more brutal with my many projects.

And for this one I'm being extremely brutal, I know I'll regret it sorely but my venerable ELU TGS 173 Docking/Rip Compound Mitre Flip/Saw must be the next machine to go unfortunately. This machine has been an absolute delight to use, and has been a rock solid stellar performer over the years. They are amazingly quiet due to the induction motor, and more than powerful enough for anything I've needed. The dust hoses have also been great for keeping the dust down.

This saw is in what I consider to be exceptionally good condition, and runs beautifully. The nylon guides are like new, the safety cover retracts perfectly, and all parts move easily. Selling $500 ono for the lot

When they were released, they were the most advanced and well designed saw on the market, so good that many years later DeWalt re-released them with very minor cosmetic changes after they bought out ELU!

For those who haven't seen these saws in the wild, here's a video of the prior 172 model (almost identical) in action:
ELU TGS 171 Demonstration - YouTube

    Included are:

    - 2 x Metal Rods and the Stand for the Extension Frame.
    - Mobile Sliding Table for the Extension Frame to help when ripping larger sheets, the fence connects to it as shown.
    - An adjustable Sliding End/Flip Stop for when docking timber to length for repeatable cuts.
    - A rigid Fence that fits on the saw table and the Mobile Sliding Table.
    - An original ELU Twin Connector Dust Extraction kit (these are incredibly rare!).
    - Large safety cover for ripping mode that swings out of the way easily.

Also included is an extra dust/safety cover (the orange one in the pics) from the prior model for when ripping, but there is no riving knife included. I can though throw in some 1/8" steel sheet if you wanted to cut a riving knife (it's fairly simple to do, not really much to it) out of it to use with this dust cover instead of the standard one. In fact I'd recommend making a riving knife as the 172 model covers are quite nicely designed and less bulky.

Pickup from Richmond (or possibly near Mulgrave depending on circumstances), no shipping sorry unless you want to organise a courier to pack/pick it up.

Note - The Woodfast Saw mentioned prior has been sold.

Already online is a rugged large mobile freight/storage case on wheels made by Aerolyte that would make a fantastic coffee table with the addition of a timber panel top!

    The shed cleanout continues!
