    Default Festool Domino 500

    I posted in another thread that I'd had a problem with my Domino at a time-critical point of a project. I sent it off to Festool for repair, and bought a new unit to get the job done.

    Festool has repaired my original unit (replaced the armiture, and installed a new switch), and it's now back and ready for a new owner. I really don't need two.

    The unit has been used by a weekend woodworker and is in good condition. Comes with the original systainer. I'm looking for $800 for it. Pickup in lower Blue Mountains.

    Hi AJW,

    I’ve been waiting for one of these. I can’t stomach the retail price on one of these as a weekend maker like yourself, but I’m familiar with the machine and this is a fair price for the refurb.

    Is $750 palatable for you, so that I can have it couriered to Melbourne? If so, I’ll take it!

    These are great machines

    Normally these go for more than $1000 so $800 is a very good price.

    Bargain - particularly as it's been to see fe$tool recently. Their repairs carry a warranty too, so it's a pretty good deal.

    What a gent AJW is!
    The machine is in good working order, and he’s also included a full set of cutters (which I now realise are worth some coin), along with a sample bag containing a handful of each size domino. Thanks so much AJW. I’ve got an excellent sharpening service who’ll be able to get those cutters sharp as new for a fraction of the cost to buy them new.

    Buy with confidence if AJW is selling. He’s an awesome member of this fine community!
