Default SOLD Festool Domino DF 500 Q Plus Plus systainer of domino’s

Used once. I got excited during a woodwork course and bought the Domino machine three years ago with intent to start making fine furniture. I used it once to test out then put it away. So in effect, its brand new minus two domino’s.
When I pulled it out to take photo’s I realised that a marker pen that had been left on top of the domino box had leaked, I’ve cleaned it though its still a bit stained.
RRP is around $1800. Asking $1300

Hi Chris, I'm sure I remember some recent posts from you saying you wouldn't ever buy a Domino or some such . Guess this deal was too good to refuse!

Dom, not that I recall, I rarely say never as it can bite you on the bum. If I did it was a senior's moment and I take it all back because I have always considered the Domino a useful but overpriced tool which i could not justify at the retail price.

Yeah I think that maybe it was something about justification at rrp - I was just poking fun . It's a good tool, but I agree that at rrp you would want to have a real need for it to justify the expense. I haven't used mine much at all - definitely a lot less than other tools of similar price.

Enjoy! Hopefully you get a lot of use out of it.

    Cheers, Dom

So will it get used as much as the Slider?

Pat, unlikely but I am about to build the router table so it might come in handy there.

Not bloody likely, my thoughts on Festool have been aired before. I think we have taken a For Sale thread too far off topic and best end it here.
