    Default Festool Router 1400 Plus

This router magnet needs to downsize!

Festool Router 1400 Plus - Almost new. $900 with systainer.

I bought this router to use set up in a Leigh Dovetail jig but it was too difficult to source the guide bushes.
I have used it once to do the edge of a coffee table and it went back into the box (systainer). It is a great machine but I have 2 other routers.
These are $1250 new, so I'm asking $900 plus postage, or I do occasionally travel to Sydney and Brisbane and Melbourne.

    Thank you.

I'm interested, and conditionally putting my hand up for this... I'd like to know though, when it was purchased please (or, how much of the warranty is left).

Could we also have a picture please of the actual unit, and confirmation that the items listed in scope of delivery here (Festool - OF 1400 W Plunge Router) are included please?

    Thanks for your interest.
I will take the systainer out of 'cold storage' tomorrow and take a photo of the router and the components.
The photo that I lifted is of the updated model. Product Number 574346 Replaces 574411 The model I have is 574411.
The router was purchased in 2008 and has no warranty left.

    Cheers

    Graham

Many thanks for the information Graham, and for the details on the exact model.

Unfortunately, I'm in the hunt for the current model, so will pass on this with many apologies for any inconvenience on this!

I guess then the Systainer is the old style with clips rather than the current T Loc.

I have recently purchased this model second hand and after buying replacement parts for those damaged or missing I would have spent about what you are asking or a bit less. Mine has been well used, some parts lost, and some parts abused.
Mine was shipped from Perth to Melbourne for $35 using a courier service.

Good luck with the sale. The more details you provide the better the chances of a sale for a tool with a great name. Even though it is 10 plus years old, parts are available for it as I do not believe it has essentially changed. One change is the collets are now 24mm rather than 22mm.

One feature users will love is that when changing bits, in addition to locking the shaft, the machine has an inbuilt ratchet for tightening and loosening bits.

Thank you for the advice and assistance in selling the Festool Router.
I didn't realise there had been a newer model.
As this is the cease, the asking price is now $750 + p.
Real life photo attached. The experts will know what all the gadgets are!

    Thanks

For those who missed out, stay tuned for more routers.
Not as high quality as the Festool though.
