Frame Saws
It's coming up to Christmas and maybe it's time to buy yourself something nice for the shed. I have handcrafted two classic Frame Saws from some beautiful and well seasoned American and WA timbers. Like all of the tools I make these are functional as well as beautiful, with proper care they will last for many decades and will something you are proud to hand down to the next generation of woodworkers
The first is a classic string tension saw made from Rock Maple and American Black Walnut with copper ferrules on the blade handles, it is 750mm long and 350mm high. The blade is cut from new 19mm x 10tpi bandsaw stock and comes with a spare 19mm blade either 14tpi or 10tpi.

SOLD The second saw is slightly different, in this one I have used a brass thread tensioning system and brass ferrules on the handles. This is made from WA Jarrah and Marri. The saw is 700mm long and 400mm high with a 12mm 14tpi blade. Spare blade is 19mm and either 14tpi or 10tpi

These saws both cut straight and true in either rip or cross cut mode and you will find them extremely easy and a real pleasure to use
Postage anywhere in Australia is $20 (express post is $25)and the price for forum members is $175 each. The Saws are stripped down for transport but come with easy instructions and video help is just a phone call away. As always they come with a money back guaranteeLast edited by Dave Reed; 6th November 2021 at 07:15 PM. Reason: Updating availability
