Default Funditor printers Compi saw. Small sliding table circ saw.

So it’s up for grabs if anyone is interested.
Asking $250 ono and am able to deliver in the Sydney area if you can unload.
This is very heavy so that means lifting gear or a crane or fork.
Im not keen on delivering to a transport co on a pallet currently but may be more amenable to that idea in a week or so if there is no local interest.
I can’t currently post pictures but should be ok to do that tomorrow.
There are pics online of these saws if you google it, One was on Gumtree in Melbourne recently for over 1k but I’m sure he’s still got it.
    H.
Its fairly complete with the fence for the sliding table, the hold down and the fine adjustable cut off fence.
Like all these saws the table runs on ball bearings and travels smoothly over the range.
The rip fence is missing but the attachment is still on the table and a fence would be easy to make.
Itnhas a three phase motor and switchgear but a conversion to 240v would be straight forward.

I’ve put some photos in the original post.
    Can take more if needed.
If you are wondering why a Woodworker would want one of these saws look up the article from ‘Fine Woodworking’ No. 32 in the 1970s about Hammond Gliders.

Wot a fantastic saw! I've never seen one like it!

I don't need it but if it was in Melb I'd be sorely tempted!

I am supposed to be picking up a lathe from Matty at sometime in the future.
Ive also some line shaft bits I bought on ebane to pick up.
So I guess when this virus thingo backs off and after I’ve done the obligatory trip up to see my bro up north a southern trip would be on the cards.

Such a cool little slider, would love this! Would be gone already if it was in WA. If you ever decide to pallet ship it I'm happy to pay.

If you did plan a trip down the track and you still have it, or even meet up somewhere a little closer if that works, you could consider it sold! I'd seriously love to have this!

Completely missed this one, sounds like a few near buyers? Happy to miss out if one of the other buyers can organise suitable terms.

If other options fall through, I would like to take it.

    H,

let me know if other sales fall through (I need to check in more regularly).

    Cheers,

    Camo

I am keen to move this out of the way.
With the lockdown staying on I don’t see us getting away on a serious road trip for months.
If you can pick it up soon it would sure be easier than me hauling it down south.
So I’ll take the easy option, consider it yours.
Sorry for mucking you around aarggh

I knew it was a long shot so no problem at all!

Now I've seen one, I'll have to keep a look out as I have to have me one of these now!

This saw is still in the way.
So if you’re interested make me an offer.
I can deliver Sydney but it needs lifting gear or a fork to unload from my flat top ute.

If you ever tire of the hammond trim-o-saw let me know Henry, been quietly looking for one for some time, hope you're keeping well.
