    Default Gifkins dovetail jig

Gifkins dovetail jig with A10 and B10 with cutters. Also include a slot cutter and the variable spacing jig. I’m pretty sure I’ve got DVDs and the instruction book I’ll just have to look for it but will update.

Pick up from the lower mountains or I can post.

    $230 for the lot

    Please note the following:
    * There is a chip on the dovetail side of the A10 template. I’m pretty sure this means that you can’t use that one tail of the template. I’ve never really tried as I’ve always just used the left and right side of it as it’s more than enough for boxes which is what this template is designed as for.
    * The grub screws for the cutters are missing so will need to be replaced. I purchased new ones direct form Col but they sent me the wrong ones.
    * There is a small groove cut in the B10 template but it won’t effect the use as the bearing on the router bit is bigger than the groove.
    * One of the screws that hold the sacrificial MDF in place is stripped so you’d need to get that out.

Would you consider separating the B10 and associated router bits?

Absolute bargain for someone there - none of those minor issues affect the function of the jig.

    I'm very interested

when you say "one of the screws for the sacrificial mdf is stripped, and needs to be removed, is it that part of the bolt is still in the housing or does it need to be re tapped, or is it that the bolt itself is stripped

another pic of the affected area would be handy if you could

    cheers

    Hey mate,

It’s just the bolt itself that’s stripped. Pretty easy fix. I’ll get a pic soon.
