Default Bandsaw Hare & Forbes BP-310

This is only 2 months old and still under warranty and in perfect condition. Still have the receipt and manual. Cuts beautifully, has all the features and are happy to demonstrate. I made a mobile base with a shelf which is on casters and is more useful than the supplied frame but I still have the legs if you want to replace that base. I have 12 good quality spare blades bought from Henry Bros and CSK ranging from 3/16" to 1/2" and nearly all of them are unused. The value of the blades are over $300. Don't ask me why I bought so many blades??
Here's a link to the specs and there is a corresponding video lower down on that page. W952 - BP-310 Wood Band Saw | Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse

20191211_145724.jpg20191211_145247.jpg20191211_145235.jpg I don't know why these are all sideways

I have hardly used it but the reason for selling is I simply wanted a longer blade for taller stock. Nothing to do with HP or quality.
Paid $730 for the saw and over $300 for the blades . Asking price $ 550
This is pick up only from Warragul 100km from Melbourne. If the base is removed it will fit in the back seat of a standard size car.

Hi Barri, I'm new to the wood working world, so am trying to get a set up here at home. I'm very interested in your band saw but just need to check something first . Can I get back to you in the morning, or is that not the way things are done

That's fine assuming someone hasn't bought it by then. BTW welcome to the forum!

Barri, I've decided to leave it thank you very much - mainly because of the distance to go pick it up. Otherwise it sounds a great buy

I realized that I sometimes come to Melbourne or surrounds so I could deliver this for a petrol fee if pick up is too difficult.

I thought I would have sold this by now, anyway I'm willing to drop the price to $480

I tend to trust fellow woodworkers and would rather sell it here but may go down that path.

Given that, does anyone want to make a realistic offer?

You were right. I put it on gumtree and it is now SOLD

I was surprised that I didn't get one inquiry from here given that it was such a good deal. Maybe too close to xmas or no one wants a bandsaw smaller than 14"
