Thread: HNT Gorden Shoulder planes

Unfortunately BOX the market place rules state that you MUST put a price on all items offered for sale. I suspect they'll be pretty popular.

I offer $150 for the 3/4" shoulder plane. No stress if it doesn't suit.

I'd like to offer $140 for the 1/2" shoulder. If your ok with that I'll take it.

I may be interested in one or two of the Terry Gordon shoulder planes, particularly the ¾” one, assuming you decide to decline the offer you received for it a couple of days ago.

Before I make a decision, could you add a post with the names of timber(s) the planes have been made from. Terry usually writes the name of the timber on the end of the box.

May I make a suggestion? You may get a few more responses if you post a photograph of each plane so that prospective purchasers have a bit more detail on what you are selling.

Thanks for advising that your four shoulder planes are all made from gidgee, which is exactly the timber I am looking for. But I don’t want four more shoulder planes so will leave them for someone else to buy.

However, if before the end of this month you have not been able to sell the four planes as a set and decide to separate them, I could then offer you say $200 for the ¾” shoulder plane.
