HNT Gordon Ebony Smoother
HNT Gordon Ebony smoother with tool steel blade. I bought it used to try and see if I liked it, but I prefer the usual Stanley type smoother. It seems to be an unusual ebony that I can’t recognise but HNT Gordon confirmed that’s what they marketed this plane as.
There are some marks from the previous owner on the back of the body where I assume someone has tried to adjust it. I’ve included a pic for reference.
After $240 for it. Hopefully that’s reasonable as it seems Terry’s specialty smoothers are about $420+ new. Let me know if I’m asking too much.

Hi jw2373,
Can I just confirm that this is a smoothing plane and not a palm smoother.
Thanks, Peter

Hi Peter,
Yes it’s the larger smoother. Let me know if you’d like a picture for scale
