Default Holz Her (-> Protool -> Festool) trimmer/router

    ---

I'm selling some items on behalf of the Aldgate Men's Shed that were donated to us and are surplus to our requirements. Offering here first before selling on Gumtree/eBay.

I will be listing various other items here for them over the coming weeks.

    Thanks for looking.

This listing is for a vintage Holz Her trimmer, made in Germany. So this is one is for either the collector or the user. The reason it is so similar to the current Festool trimmers is because of its heritage... Holz Her (Holzher) small powered tools became Protool, which then became Festool. Nowadays Holzher specializes in very big industrial CNC woodworking equipment, so quality stuff. This trimmer is very solid and, despite some superficial 'ageing', it works!

None of the original accesories are with the trimmer. Perhaps the parallel side fence for the current Festool may fit it. I can take the verniers to it if anyone needs some measurements. Likewise, I can take some extra photos if there is any serious interest.

The asking price is $100. The cost of a new Festool trimmer without the side fence is $779.00.

MFK 700 Laminate Trimmer with Brake in Systainer

Postage is at your cost by your preferred shipping method. Item located in the Adelaide Hills.
Weight is 2.6kg unpackaged. Can probably pack in a box of about 375mm longx 250mm wide x 175mm deep.
    Stay sharp and stay safe!

If it is Ian, it is expressed in a different way to what I have seen for welders and larger electric motors. Perhaps it has a duty cycle rating of 66% ????

I would say yes, duty cycle is based on 10 mins, so that is 4 mins load, 6 mins no load or 40%.
