Default JessEm Rout-R-Lift Prestige with Festool Router

Have you given up on finding a quality router lift and router combo?

    Look no further!

    JessEm Rout-R-Lift Prestige + Festool OF2000 router

    Includes
    - Ultra high quality Jessem router lift, New = $595 + $30 odd postage from Gregory Tools ( I suspect that price will be heading northwards once stock is cleared as it's now USD419.99 ex post from Jessem).
    - Festool OF2000 router (2kW festool quality); original systainer and attachments included)

Please read through this thread for a history of this combo. Now that I have the CNC and have shrunk my K3 table, my router requirements have changed.

The Jessem prestige comes with a pre-drilled plate for the following routers:
    – Festool OF1010/OF1400
    – Dewalt 625, ELU 3337-9
    – Makita RP2301
    – Hitachi M12V
    – Bosch 1617/1604/1613 (through hole)

    - The original bits and bobs that come in the box are included, as well as a set of throat plates from Jessem (red plates in the pic below)

No native holes for the OF2000, so I made an adaptor plate. As you'll see from the thread linked, it's very slightly off centre, but I've 3D printed a set of throat plates to accommodate this (purple in the pic below). I also had to trim one of the arms of the router to get it to fit. I've kept the bits so it can be re-assembled with epoxy and spit if needed).

I am hoping I'll be able to fit the lift and router + all the bits in the original Festool systainer, and send it as one lump. Sale is for the lift and router, not the box I built. If you want the box (plywood build, polywotsit clear door, 2 x dust extractor ports, kill switch) I'm open to negotiation - say $40 - but then collect is probably the best choice as it would need to be two quite large boxes to send.

Tough to price - My usual maths of 2/3rds new for the Jessem, and maybe $250 seems reasonable for the beast of a router, makes it $646.67 collect from Newcastle. Post at cost.

was interested in possibly the lift and seeing if i could adapt it to my triton but didn't realise this part on the jessem website:

The Rout-R-Lift Prestige allows adjusting the cutting depth quickly and precisely with the included lifting crank handle. ** Please Note: Router bit changes cannot be done from the top on this lift.

I've been changing the bit from the top since it's been in use. It's no different from any other lift, so I don't know what that's about. Maybe I have legendary and superhuman skills (as I have always suspected).

Ian, I like your thinking - a Jessem with a free Festool promo! How can I afford that?!

    Hey bernmc,

I would take this if you would be ok with me not picking it up for a month? As I would like to buy the box with it too.
Understand if you would prefer to get it out of the shed quicker.

    Thanks,
    Tom
