Whats your point? I've paid more that 500 and the postage from Australian shop.
If you found lower price in USA good on you and you can go tell Aussie businesses not to be greedy and so much for supporting locals.

They could be $100 but that means nothing when the site you linked to says “not available - don’t know when they will be available”

Discussion is diverging from the poor OP's for sale thread!

These amazing little beasties will currently cost you between $470 and $500 depending on exchange if you get them direct from the states - really not a worthwhile saving when locals Gregory Tools are doing them for $510.

While you can sometimes get free international shipping from Amazon if you're a prime member, Jessem won't ship these to Aus through prime.

So in this case, local is a no-brainer.

What is comes down to is supply and demand. If you want one of these Jessem guides for the table saw - and I think that they are amazingly good! I have a set on my Hammer K3 ...



... and you want it at all costs and now, not tomorrow, then you must pay the piper. I do not know if one is for sale in Oz. From what has been mentioned, they are not available from Amazon.

However, they are available from WoodCraft in the USA, where I purchased mine in January. Lucky me, it was on special then for $200 USD and $55 USD postage. It is now $257 USD before postage. That's around $440 AUD all up landed in Oz.

Does $500 look better now? If Russell was to toss in postage, it would be a reasonable purchase (for an impatient buyer).
