Default Jet 22-44 Oscillating drum Sander + Stand & extras

    Hi all,

I have a near new Jet 22-44 Oscillating drum sander for sale.

Has done less than 10 hours of use all up, will definitely suit a new buyer.
Has built in speed regulator for when you’re taking too much material or the when the drum is under load, it slows the conveyer speed.

Made year 2017, purchased originally new from Carbatec.

    Comes with:

    Original pressed steel stand
    Wixey digital readout
Brand new heavy duty 4 way swivel base
Brand new 100 grit conveyer belt + 120 grit spare conveyer
Whole box of various grits from 80 up
    Drum cleaner stick

In mint condition, works wonderfully and very accurate.

Here is seen a knotty Blackwood board partially sanded.

    Over $4200 spent, asking $2900

Inspection and pick up in Doncaster Vic.

Default Jet 22-44 Oscillating drum Sander + Stand & extras

    Hey RSD,

Just noticed you’re local. For easy transport, the top part where the cast iron meets the stand can be removed by just 4 bolts accessible from the stand door. Will require 2 people to carry top half as it weights over 100kg. Easily transported in a station wagon or Ute.

    Hope this helps.

The conveyer belts are sold as spare parts. You can still purchase them from Carbatec.

I would love to have that Sapherion.

I have discussed the mater with the Minister for War and Finance and all I can have at this time is $2000. Would this be enough?

I can pick up straight away.

I can testify that this machine is in fabulous "As New" condition.

I helped Sapherion unload it and put the top onto the base.......Not a scratch was to be seen.

Whoever has the dosh and space, will be a lucky duck!

    Cheers,
    Siggy

Following the rules, I've a side question about collection (given the border lockdown).

Are you looking to move the thing for space? i.e. Could one buy it now and leave it there until things improve?

I'd bring it back here via courier, but I suspect there may be ... challenges...

(This is a very serious bit of kit. I'd love to have one. My mate Ben Reddan has one and it is a marvel).

    Sorry Doug,

That offer is too low to accept. Although I’m keen to let it go, offer needs to be higher nearest to asking price.

    Yes,

I can hold it for you based on border rules. I can also have it dropped off at a friends place locally for safe keeping if you prefer. It is a serious package, for those who have used one before will appreciate its value in saving time and quality finish.

I understand, but as I said that's all I have right now.

I expected a refusal but if I had not asked I would always be wondering if you might have said yes.
