    Default Jet JPT-310 HH Jointer Thicknesser

    I bought this combo machine new from Gregory Machinery (Brisbane) in September 2013. It's had an easy life as I'm a pretty slow, one-project-at-a-time amateur woodworker. I switched to the third blade on the helical cutter set earlier this year, so probably just under 1/2 life left on the cutter heads. Its a 3hp, 15amp machine, weights about 220kgs. Apart from the counter on the thicknesser wheel failing some years ago (I never quite worked out how to use it anyway?) the Jet served me very well and I'm only selling it because last week I happened to come across a second-hand Hammer A3 26 just 20km away and on an impulse bought it. I'm not 100% sure that was either wise or necessary, but its done now and given what I've been making these past years I don't have a real need for a 12" machine anyway. I could not find any Jet machines in Australia on-line but the 12" Woodman at Gregory's looks identical - its $3696. I'd like $2400 for the Jet.
