    Hi eason86, i have a question about these .actually a couple .Did you make these ? Have you used them and are the blades good quality. Im new at all this forum stuff

    I am also keen to know a bit more about their origin. Do you know who the blade was made by? Did you tune these?

    No

    Yes, i had light use of them to cut a few hundreds kumikos ( mainly on tas celery top pine and some us hard maple), asanoha and some other simple patterns for a project. For the time i used them i never feel the blade needed to be resharpened.

    Long story someone refered me this blacksmith, he said he has done it before, and figured out that if you want to cut a 60degree V groove, you do not fold the plane iron 60 degree. I thought it was weird but legit, so i took my chance and ordered it. The blades was then sent to a custom plane maker to make the dai and tunning.
