Laguna 1836 Lathe and Accessories

Thought I was going to be a woodturner... I was kidding myself... Im a flat woodworker and nothing else! Everything as new or as good as!

For Sale I have a

12 month old(50 hours max) Laguna 1836 lathe
2 Vicmarc chucks
4 sets Vicmac jaws
1 set Vicmarc bowl jaws
2 woodscrews
4 backing rings(various sizes)
2 steb centres
4 Calipers
3 centre finders
10 Henry Taylor gouges
6 Robert Sorby gouges
1 Robert Sorby Pro edge belt sander

65 bowl blanks
PSI pen mandrel (unused still in box)
PSI pen press (unused still in box)

while talking about rules..... just FYI this is meant to be the exclusive area where things are offered. If you want your ad moved to the "advertised elsewhere" section, you could hit the "report to moderator" icon and ask for that to happen ;-)

Hi Gary;

The easiest way would be to edit your original post and put prices next to each item; then re-edit again each time something sells and replace the price with the words “Sold to Xxxx”.

What isn’t allowed however is E-bay style bidding; as per the rules you need to specify a price against each item initially. That's not say Xxxx can’t make an offer afterwards for one or more items.

I would suggest pricing each item at 75% of new and play it by ear after that. I really advise allowing postage as well otherwise you are limiting potential buyers to your geographical area.

There are one or two bits that I am interested in so I look forward to seeing the updated thread.

I don’t necessarily want to price each item individually but happy to give a price for bundled items as requested... please tel me the items your interested in and I will happily nominate my price? Postage for me is still Not an option sorry.

It seems that if you don't want to price individual items and don't want to post items then you don't really want to sell anything here so really, the whole post is pointless. This may sound mean but that's how it seems to me.
