    Ian,I rang a friend in Canberra and her Leady lathe has a 3.5 x 30 thread so it looks ok.
    Do you still have my phone number so we can tee up a pick up time and date?

    I did a quick check on Saturday and the thread is 30mm dia x 3.5. Give me a ring on Monday and we can arrange a time this week for pick up. Wednesday is out . My preference would am Thursday.You have my number
