    Default LEDACRAFT Spindle Sander.

For Sale is a LEDACRAFT MM-326 Spindle Sander - MM-326 OSCILLATING BOBBIN SANDER - Leda Machinery

One problem - still spins around but doesn't move up and down. Might be a simple fix, I'm not sure. See the video YouTube

    Pickup Taylors Hill. $100 negotiable.

I'm out of state for the next week but will be back on the 7th of October. If you're interested in this, let me know.

If the machine is similar in design and mechanism to the one I got from Hare & Forbes, it's just a case of replacing the drive belt....

If it's the same issue as mine, there is a small metal bar (should be two) with a hole at each end, with one connected to lugs on the cam at the motor end, and the top end is connected via a bolt to the base of the spindle bearing housing, which then makes the spindle go up and down as the motor is rotated. So if you can imagine, the motor is direct drive and spins the spindle around, while the base of the spindle sits inside a large bearing case, that the rod/cam is connected to and moves up and down.

It's a relatively easy problem to diagnose, but may need a bit of machining to fix. If your lucky the metal parts have simply come undone inside, and it's just a case of re-attaching and tightening them all up.

Give me a shout if you get stuck, but it's really a simple repair if yours is the same as mine.

will removing the (4) bolts on the top, give me access to the parts? it looks like the motor and parts just lift out....Cheers
