Ben - 30 mins to go until "tomorrow".
Tell you what, one has to be fast on this forum. Ive been on the hunt for a scraper plane for WEEKS... then up pop a whole slew of them, and BOOF - gone!
Kid you not, I checked just before dinner (8:30) and just now.... man-o-man, I need an alert script or something!!!
Congrats to the winner

commiseration @woodpixel
Sometimes its the luck of the draw with the market place! You can't even 2nd guess yourself for a min.
But all is not necessarily lost though.
If you want a Scraper Plane. There are a few options that you can consider:
- Kunz scraper plane from Amazon.com.au for $202 incl delivery (prime).
- Lie-Nielsen No. 85 Cabinet Maker's Scraper for $385 plus postage from Axminster.
- Veritas Scraping Plane for $260 plus postage from Axminster.
Kunz is a low budget plane but will do the job (I have one). I think the Veritas one is good value for money (I want one but not sure if I need one).

I have a Stanley 112 and love it! But if I was starting afresh my money would go on the Veritas.
Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.
