Welcome you should post in https://www.woodworkforums.com/f155
For metalwork I can recommend the Radius Master Belt Grinders made is Australia and versatile. However it maybe outside your budget.

I would suggest one of these, L085 - LA-362 Multitool Belt & Disc Grinding Attachment | Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse although it really depends on the application this type is a good all round general purpose unit.

Radius Master is far and away the best one I’ve ever owned.

So the Radius Master 48 Series 2 looks to be the one to get maybe, what's the damage on them as there's no pricing online that I can see?
Or what models did you guys buy?

I got the RM-48 - Radius Master Pedestal Belt Grinder / Linisher - Series 2 for my schools metal workshop.
I bought it through total tools.
The Radius Master is solid the motor does not bog down it handles everything we throw at it.

Linisher
I use radius masters and the 84 Engineering linishers at work. The radius masters only benefit is that they are a self contained unit, so they are compact. It’s also a negative as you cannot add anything to them.
The shopmate 48 has more options and accessories, and is a better machine in my opinion.
This company sells both Shopmates and the radius master, but it wouldn’t even be a consideration to look at the radius master.
48" - Artisan Supplies
84 Engineering is also an Australian owner/operator company building the machines in Australia
